Indications for use of Convulsil 2 mg
Each tablet contains: Clonazepam 2.0 mg

Clonazepam (clonazepam) is a benzodiazepine drug used to treat panic disorder, control seizures, or treat epilepsy and helps relieve anxiety. In addition, this drug may be used to treat other diseases or symptoms. It depends on the doctor’s discretion. However, Clonazepam has contraindications and may cause side effects. Therefore, its use should be under the advice of a doctor and pharmacist.

Mechanism of Action

Clonazepam enhances the activity of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. This action produces anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, sedative, and muscle relaxant effects.

Therapeutic Indications

**Treatment of various seizure disorders, including absence seizures, myoclonic seizures, and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome.
