Indications for use anxioda®10 mg
Each tablet contains: Diazepam10 mg

1.Diazepam is a psychotropic drug used as an anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, and sedative/hypnotic.

Diazepam drug properties

Treats anxiety: Used to relieve symptoms of anxiety caused by psychiatric conditions such as generalized anxiety disorder or panic disorder.
Muscle Relaxation: Massage to relieve tight or tense muscles, often caused by injury or other health conditions.
Treatment of insomnia: Used to treat insomnia, especially in those with associated anxiety.
Treatment of Seizures: Used to relieve seizures caused by epilepsy or seizures caused by other causes, such as drug or alcohol withdrawal.
Used to treat alcohol withdrawal: Helps reduce alcohol withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, restlessness, and seizures.

Mechanism of action

Diazepam is a long-acting benzodiazepine drug that has anti-convulsant, anti-anxiety, drowsiness, muscle relaxation, and sleep-inducing properties.

Diazepam acts by increasing the cell membrane selectivity of chloride ions by binding to benzodiazepine receptors on postsynaptic GABA neurons in the central nervous system and increasing the inhibitory effect of GABA resulting in hyperpolarization.
