Indications and contraindications for the use of Codeine
Usual dose:
Adults: 1 tablet/time, repeat after 6 hours if needed, not more than 4 times/day. Elderly or patients with hepatic impairment: The starting dose should be reduced by half the adult dose, and may be increased if necessary depending on tolerability and need, but should not exceed the normal adult dose. at least 6 hours apart. Some subjects should not use Codeine including:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug Respiratory failure Cough in asthma patients Breastfeeding women Children under 18 years old
